Is religion really important for the society?

Post by Oscar Mariño on Sun 1 Oct - 19:42

Religion have influenced society since thousands of years ago. Religion have affected in the way that the economy of the countries and the government worked. However, that was in the past. On recent years the religion have reduced its influence on society, but the mayority of the society still lives according to the way its religion wants us to live our lives. But, what would happen if the religion doesn’t have any importance of the society. How would the countries live.

It depends on the person and its way of thinking. Although a religion is considered part of a society, it is not neccessary, as it is just a way for getting hope; it might be important for some people in society, but for other (like atheist) is an unuseful practice in which churches get a lot of money.
