Are social networking sites harmful? Why? Why not? Should it be monitored by you parents? Should it be monitored by the police?

I think everything depends on the use you give to them. Social networks are used to locate people, share photos, send messages, write what you think about the world and more. So far everything is good. But if they start to criticize people for the way they are or think it becomes harmful. Like all inventions that man can do, I think it's good with proper education on how to use it. After being taught and know what is right and what is not, I don not believe parents should monitored it.

i think social media was created as a benefit for society because it allows communication between people. it is true to say that social media sites can be harmful because of the inappropiate use some make of them.

I think having social media needs to have a limit in the sense of harming people with your actions and comments. I think the should not be monitored by your parents because you can have control of yourself and be mature
