What is the best way to learn English?

What are your opinions?

In my opinion, the best way to learn English is with a native or being in a English speaking country, such as USA or England. These are the easiest ways of learning English, of course learning this language in school is another method, but seeing English in the day a day routine will be easier and faster than in school.

One of the keys to learn English is to have a motivation to do it. Also we need to remember that the biggest advantage of learning any kind of idiom is that we are able to communicate with any kind of person.

I think that the best way to learn English is by practicing. It is like an math process, you need to practice with many exercises or you will never learn. English is quiet the same but not with numbers, in this case is learning topic by topic and when you know it you just have to know how to speak. Another thing for learning English is writing. Writing in English is different than writing in Spanish so while you are practicing the way it is wrote you can practice the way it is pronunciated.

The best way of learn English is listening and talking the language because you can only achieve things practicing and you will be improving step by step...

You see Mafe, to learn English is not the same as learning math, math is a subject in which you have to repeat and repeat, like doing a sport, but when you study for English, you have to read a lot, different typ of text, you won't get anywhere if you just write and  do excersices, you have to read a lot, expand your vocabulary because there are infinite amount of words you must learn, but, I kind of support you of doing excersices, for example in learning how to do sentences of reported perch or other kind, but you must change and have all kinds of excersices, where you read, write inclusive speak. English is a subject in which you can't  put your eggs in just one basket, you must learn everything.

I think that the best way to learn english in a short, concentrated period of time is by:
1. Think and speak only in English (abandoning your native tongue and speaking only in your new second language)
2. Spend time in an Anglophone country so your ears will get used to this new second language
3. Study with a professional language tutor
