Tv series damage Colombia image?

One day a famous soccer player name Paul Pogba declare in a interview that he consider Colombia a dangerous country due to the situations presented in a famous Netflix serie, Narcos. Do you think Colombian government should prohibited the film of this kind of series? Do you think that if this occurs more foreigners will come to Colombia?

Series most definitely affect Colombia's image for the world, by portraying Colombia as a dangerous country full of drugs and cartels. But I don't think that the Colombian government would prohibit them since they show a bit of Colombia to the world

This is totally true since this shows are seen by millions of people and they won't visit our country because they think Colombia is like that and that it very dangerous.

But when he visited Colombia he changed his mind since he love it, but the problem is that the people when they see our country they don't know a bit much it and the only impression they have of it is the one that is given in the seríe.

I think that yes, colombian series might be damaging its reputation. Series like ‘narcos’ show Colombia as only illegal commerce. But actually it is something real, they show real events, and reality is something we can’t change.

I agree with you Colombian movies talking about ilicit drugs and narcotrfiking could be dangerous for the image of the country but also shows a reality from where we can understand that painful history and never repeat it again.

YES! Of course they damage Colombia's image because most of them show how badly our country is in some aspects, and this is what foreigners get to know about our country without even knowing it , they just base their image in what Colombia's Tv shows and series show about their own country.
