Are Zoos prisons for animals?
Should there be any zoos in the world? Is this a form of animal cruelty? Should animals be set free in their own habitat? Shoulds zoos be shut down?

I personally think that zoos are prisons for animals. It is completely ridiculous that animals need to be in jails only for entretain people. The government is barking up in the wrong tree permitting these kind of condominiums.

Animals also feel and it's not right to keep them in zoos becouse it's like a jail for them, they where born in a natural area they have to live In a natural area. That's why its important to tolerate them.

I think there sholud not be zoos in the world, because Zoos are always talking about saving the animals but they don’t really save the animals. The zoos used to set free animals in the wild, but now the animals are kept in captivity for so long that the don’t have independence any more so they can’t search for food or defend themselves.

Zoos are not prisons. They improve way of life of animals.
The responsible zoos and aquariums are always promoting the conservation of animals and endangered species. Using different programs, these institutions facilatate initiatives for preserving genetic biodiversity and protecting wild extinct species.

They might preserve genetic biodiversity but it IS a PRISION for animals, sometimes it depends on how good or bad the zoo is, if they really take care of animals, if they try to make a good representation of their real habitat, but however animals have to be free, need to be free, in their environment, and not in a place that tries to replace it.Antonia Sanint wrote:Zoos are not prisons. Yes, because animals should have the right to be in freedom, or would you like to be in a prison like them?.
