Through the years humanity has realized that nuclear powder creates more problems than it solves. Goverments might stop trying fixing what ain't broke. Despite the fact that nuclear research has bring alternative energy resources and else innovations, it is more than clear than when used with bad purposes the consequences are fatal not only for the affected ones but the whole world. Monetary resources investing in these researches, which are not cheap at all, should be better invest to fight hunger or else real important problematics.
