Are hobbies important?

I believe hobbies are important to al people in general because this generate that you can live best of both worlds. In my case I study daily from Monday to Friday until 3:00 P.M and at 4 o'clock I go to train soccer. This is very helpful because in this way you can meet extraordinary people, recent studies also say that hobbies build self-esteem and when I said you can live best of both worlds it's because this helps to relieve stress, thus generates that at the other day you are going to enjoy every single moment of your day. But remember to choose a hobbie you really like.

Hobbies are important for everyone, with them we can do that little things we love and apasion us , like drawing, singing , writing, etc. Everyone should have one because it give us a feeling of happiness and creativity . I think it help us reduse stress , at the moment we are making our hobbie we dont think in anything else.

In my opinion hobbies are vital in our daily life, at some point everyone will feel tired or stressed, that's where hobbies act. They have the 'magic' to chill you out, to, maybe, find your real self in a difficult situation, they express who you are in an awesome way. Some of them may cost an arm and a leg, like collecting old cars or buying books; however, they make you, you; some others may seem not vey interesting like watching the night sky for a very long time or playing with your dog, or cat. The point is, as there are many different kinds of people in the world, so are hobbies which not only calm down yourself, but also explain yourself towards others.

Hobbies are very important in life, specially in us (students) ,because we need to relax and clear our minds of all the academic pressure special in the GCB which gave us many work to do (homework) , so I think hobbies are important for our lifes ...

In my personal opinion hobbies are very important because they are a way to do something we like and not always working and studying as if we were machines, and some hobbies may also help mentally and phisically if it is a sport.

Indeed, hobbies are important for us, the man who first made one, had the best thing since sliced bread, with hobbies we will always have something to do, but maybe this can come to something bad, because monotonous events may bore you and you can get tired of the same routine, so a recomendation is to change, innovate and do some new things that can be fun for you.

I agrre with you, they are our own moment in any time of the day, we can express ourselfs and be succesful in the things we love to do.
There are many kinds of hobbies, and they depend on you and you character, everyone is different so hobbies are different in each one of us, and this makes it interesting, because its yours and you achieve your hobbies according to your way to seeing things.

I think hobbies are that drop of relief we as students have and need, hobbies are really important because they make us forget about all of our problems, the tons of homeworks we have to hand in the next day, the stressing situations and much more when we are doing them. They are also vital for us to relax and they are that thing we love to do.

Although hobbies are important, they can distract you of what really matters, school. Since I am in school I have seen guys like you who have daily hobbies, Monday to Friday, after school and this really decrease their grades and rhythm at school because when they arrived home they are to tired to begin to study and make homework; furthermore they are in disadvantage from students who arrived home around 4 pm and can make homework early and then go to sleep like thousands of hours at a decent hour. Once in a blue moon this guys sleep early and this is really bad for their health. As a result they are tired and sleepy at school, they don't put attention by the way they don't learn and get really really lost and affected because of this hobbies and we know without a good education you cannot be succesful! And yes hobbies help health but you can make them on weekend and once in the week and focus at school. Actions speak louder than words, and results of my friends who train all week have show me that.

I think that as long as a hobby remains a hobby, everything is alright. Hobbies may be the answer to the purpose in life. Some may play football, others like to read and they all seem to be proud of it. A hobby gives you something to be different from the rest.
