Why fashion is important?

Fashion is important due to world evolution, innovation is something that we might conserve to have a great developt society. Clothes and our ways of dressing are evolving and we also, that is why fashion is important, because it is another way that represent the growth and advance of society.

I think fashion is important because as Felipe said, fashion is constantly adapting to the era it belongs to. Fashion permits us to check and remember how times were on certain decades and can also suggest how we will change as a society on the future.

I think fashion is important since it will help a lot to understand the nowadays culture in a future. Fashion, as many other factors, is very important for the history. It describe most of the actual generation, their context, their situation and their place, among many others. If you compare today's way of dressing with the one in the French Revolution era you easily can identify many things in which we difference with the people in that time. Fashion is history.

Fashion has its flaws but it still is something of great historical value. The flaws it has is the extreme commercialism it is given. Look at some overpriced bags of Louis Vuitton or something like that. You can take fashion as an art and in that perspective, it might be worth your money.
Nevertheless, I keep falling for the trick and buy innecessary and sometimes overpriced clothes because I like them.

I think that fashion is important because somehow it helps the economy and make a spot in history. But fashion is very stupid when you think about it, because it makes people buy things that are not needed (like a pair of heels or a really expensive belt), and it basically means to make sacrifices to find the aprooval of people that you don't even know and eventually becoming another brivk in the wall. But Coco Channel said "Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening". So I guess that it depend of the way you look at it.

Fashion is not only dressing pretty or with expensive clothes. Fashion is a way our culture has been expressing since a lot of years ago. It is a form of art that helps fashion designers express their context, culture, emotions, ways of thinking and other factors of our daily lives. The way people dress also has been important in the historical researches because it helps people to understand a little the period of time they are studying. Even though that fashion is most of the time related to beauty, style and other similar stuff that are very superficial, fashion has a big impact and importnace in our culture and society.

Fashion and style differ depending on several factors, including culture and traditions. Nearly every culture and religion has its own style of dress which sets it apart from others. Fashion plays an important role in establishing identity, beliefs and thoughts throughout the world. Fashion also enables people to display personality and personal preferences. It allows people to show off not only dressing style, but provides an opportunity to set trends.

I consider fashion is more than adapting to the changes , i think fashion is why define you as a person and make other peoples has an opinion and a perspective of who you are and what you like.
