Bogota or Cartagena?

In my opinion Bogota is better than Cartagena as it has more infrastructure, it is less expensive, like the apartments, and it has more places for visiting, in addition, it is more important as all the government is in Bogota.

In my opinion Bogota is way better than Cartagena, Bogota has a better infrastructure than Catagena, for not being a total touristic city. Bogota for sure doesn't have the beauty that Cartagena has, but it has a good economy. Bogota is a better city to someone that want practically and more infrastructure. For the ones that want to her rid of the stress can go to Cartagena, since is a touristic city is better for relaxing.

Bogota is an incredible place to live because it is a big city , you can do many things and it is easy to find whatever you want but Cartagena is a AMAZING place , it is hot , beautiful and the most important thing you have de beach.

It would be incredible if someone says Cartagena is better than Bogota for the reason that Bogota gives a better life conditions to its population. I also take into account that Bogota is Colombia´s capital which makes it bigger and more developed. Bogota´s infrastructure may have some problems but it is way better than Cartagena´s. Definitely Cartagena is a cultural city with amazing attractions as San Felipe Castle but Bogota is a 21sth century metro poly full of life.

It depends on your likes because if you think it for the weather is better Cartagena because Bogota is one day cold, another too hoy, part of the day cold and the other cold so it´s very difficult to wear the perfect outfit...
In the turistic part Cartagena is also de best, it is out of the ligue
But when you talk about activities is better Bogota and it´s very complete

In my opinion Cartagena is way better than Bogota. The last one will never have Cartagena's magic: its wonderful landscapes, its breathtaking beach, its stunning monuments and historical background, its delightful atmosphere wherever you go and its great streets and culture. It's awesome how a city can make you travel to a better place, that place is Cartagena. This city full of culture and history which you would like to hear more than a hundred times is just perfect.

I agree with you, Bogotá is the capital of Colombia so is one of the most important places in Colombia

It's muesums and libraries are the principal atractions, foor example "el museo del oro" and "la biblioteca nacional de Colombia". And the majority of bands and artist come to Bogotá on tours.

Cartagena is an amazing and astonishing place to viisist. The landscape is one of the most beautiful things i've been able to see in my entire life. Cartagena is one of the most visited places by foreigners and even from native people. The weather is just lovely.

I prefer Cartagena, I really enjoy sea and food combination. Cartagena is one of the most historic cities in Colombia. All the commercial development of Colombia started here and the first steps toward the abolition of slavery were taken by a Spaniard Jesuit priest, San Pedro Claver, who, seeing the poor conditions of the slaves, began enacting what was then called Equal Human Rights

I think that pretty much everywhere beats Bogota, a cold and ugly city where you can't find anywhere nice and you get stuck in traffic. Cartagena, on the other hand, has beautiful places and is next to sea, which makes it the ideal city for anyone.

I think they are both different concepts as bogota is more city like buildings and malls, while cartagena has sea, beautiful landscapes, but I personally will prefer bogota

To live, Bogotá is a better city, come on, we are talking about the capital of Colombia, the quality of life is much better, the weather is perfect to live, trust me, you will hate the heat if you spend more than one month in Cartagena, the cold of Bogotá is lovely, and we have great landscapes here, the big buildings and all that stuff, Cartagena is a touristic place but for living, Bogotá is the best option. I rather prefer to see Millonarios than Real Cartagena hahaha.
