Tomas could be consider one of the most important writers in Colombia because he shows not only that his books as "Los caballitos del Diablo" and other works that were destacated , but also showed a great passion for literature without thinking of fame.

I think he should be considered important because he has been recognized and flattered by many important writers in the country

I think that Tomás González could be considered as one of the most importnat writers from the colombian history, he isn't the most important one, as we have such important writers like Gabriel García Márquez, Jorge Isaacs, Álvaro Mutis, and others.
