Necessary subjects?

Do classes as religion ethics and geography are really necessary in school
For example if I doesn't believe in god I can go to the library to do homework or practice another subject during the religion class or I should be inside?

I agree with you nicolas some subjects are a waste of time for some people for example ethics class not many people agree with the psychologist or religion, or physical education thank you
