How is the familly of the 21st century?

With the evolution of the society, everything requieres an evolution, I want to know how is a family knowadays...

The society from the 21st century is a society which depends on technology, as you can observe, every family has at least an IPhone or a Samsung. It is also a society where belief systems doesn't matter as much as the 19th century.

On past years, family was made up of two parent (a man and a woman) and their kids. Everything else was not taken into account. But now, a family might be defined as a group of people who have a sentimental value, maybe as friends. These modern families get each time bigger, maybe when including the possibility of getting the LGBT have kids.

Families have change, they have been evolutating. Nowadays, families don't talk a lot to each other as previous years families did, they spend now a lot of time in their phones and when they have the chance of talking they don't do it. Also, families they get too late or tired from work and school so they can't have a lot of conversations.
