From th Industrial Revolution, the social and economical progress and development of a country has been associated with the industrialization of a country. Consequently, much countries, in the search to the progress, have put on their priorities to further improve the industry, whereas the ecosystem has been negatively affected by it.
It is also much paradoxical that in the XXI century, development is measured by both the industrialization and the well-mainteinance pf the ecosystem. Thus countries have opted for biotechnologies that do not affect much the Earth. Nevertheless, less developed countries offer transnational companies low taxes, for them to install there, without any regulations on the technologies they use...
