Is living off the grid a good idea for having a sustainable living?

Many people have decided to live off the grid, like the Amish community. Still, it might not be to good for many people. Do you think that living off the grid could be a good option?

Dear Charlie, it might be a true way of living without making an strong environmental impact as it would be to live in the city but you must take into account that not everyone likes been away of technology and modernity, so it always depends on who decides to take over such a free live style

Nowadays, living off the grid is a great idea for having a sustainable living, the only problem is you have to be brave enough to live in places like forests or mountains, owing to there lots of dangers that we are not aware of. Also, you need to be active and live the day, what means that if a lazy person decides to go off the grid, he or she might reconsider it as you need to go and find your food ( which is not an easy job) and obtain different types of serivices like light from different things like solar panels, which is not easy to get or to build.

Indeed, living off the grid is a good idea for having a sustainable living because you can learn to use different types of energies, and this will eventually help the world and make it easier for you to live. But you should also take into account that living off the grid implies a lot of changes and added responsabilities to your lifestyle.

Dear Charlie, I think living off the grid is a good option; However, the society of nowadays doesn’t let us do so, this can be justified in social, economical and political aspects, which don’t let us exit the always hard society and enter to a more pacific environment

Maybe could be a way of taking a breathe of the city, but in case something happens to you it would not be nice living off the grid.
