Is sexual orientation determined at birth?

There is not such a thing as a "gay gene" which can determine wether you are born gay or you develop those likes and dislikes while you grow up. Being gay is an unconscious choice you make towards what you really like after experimenting diferent situations.

I have always considered that sexual orientation is not determined since the person is born, but is something that builds up during time and is influenced almost totally by what the person experiences in his life and on what surrounds him like the society, until he or she is mature enough to decide and confirm whether they consider themselves heterosexual, homosexual or whatever sexual preference they choose. Being gay is not something you are born with, but something you decide to be. And in my opinion being gay has nothing wrong.
