Why are we ashamed to talk about sexuality?

It is weird, since it's such and important factor in determining some people's personalities. Sexuality is such an integral part of the human, so why should we be ashamed of it? Also it becomes weirder when you think that we are even more ashamed to talk to our couples about that, when they are the most indicated people to talk with about these topics.

Because it's not accepted by the comunitty as a result of this topic being taught  to us that it is incorrect since we were children , however it is something that should be accepted publicly because everyone talks about it privately. It is a taboo.

I consider we get uncomfortable when we talk about sexuality because since we were kids we were raised with this topic as a taboo, like if it was something bad. In addition, talking about sexuality includes certain things that are really private to many people. In my opinion this is influenced a lot by what society has tried to teach us, and it is a normal thing in everyone's life.
