Public or private school?

What do you think of the public schools in Bogota?

From my point of view I think that some of the public schools are judge my its cover, for example I know some of public schools are very good in terms of academic but they are judge for the fact of been public.
This doesn't mean that I prefer public schools I prefer pirivated because they don't depende of the geverment.
That fact of depending if geverment affect because sometimes they don't pay in time so teachers decide not to work.

Indeed some of the facts you are presenting re true, but it depends a lot of the school and the teachers that are working, obviously everybody would prefer the private school on terms of level of education and conditions but not everyone can affor a privatee school so as you say, in order that the public schools can become better than the private ones, first of all we need that the goverment helps the schools so that they can have better materials and implements to use in their classroom, as well as moree prepared teacher pf some subjects, with all these into account, maybe the public schools can get to be as the private ones.

The problem with public schools are the issues that they have to confront every year, because there are public schools which needs more resources for the quantity of students that they have, these schools are the ones located in over populed hoods. On the other hand I think that choosing between public and private is a personal decision, because public schools focus on a educational program made by the government, while private schools have their own educational program with a more globalized view of education.

I think that public schools at Colombia need many improvements , they don't give a good education to kids , and that affects in the future the entire country. This schools need more help of the government with resources.

Learning is learning, and if the school is public or private, it is still knowledge on it.

Public!!! And like this we don't have to pay too much for a human right
