What should the school make so we have a sense of belonging to it?

As it is known many students do not have any sense of belonging to the school. Then, for you what things should the school make so we have this sense for it?

I think that they should treat us in a better way, making us feeling better, if they keep trying to control our lives, our haircut, like we dress and our private life, they only generate a feeling of being in a jail. So, to make the long story short, they should give more freedom and change some attitudes.

I agree with you but I think that this is something impossible because school is where you will learn to control yourself in different situations of real life, for example, you have to wait until you can go to the bathroom
