is it entertainment only related with technology?

When we talk about entertainment the first thing it comes to our minds its a tv , or a computer and a cellphone or even the internet , the social networks, apps and games but for me entertainment is when you distract yourself in different activities that could be hobbies, because some times the entertainment with technology is a waste of time .
I want to know what is entertainment for you.

Obviously not, entertainment is defined as: It is known as entertainment to all activities that allows humans to use their free time for fun. and we have fun doing sports, talking a walk etc..

Entertainment can be found in many ways. Some people may find amusement in the tv of in their phones but there are also other ways to delight yourself. You can go to concerts, to a theather to watch a play , watch ballet or with sports.

I think that entertainment depends on the person, like the things they like and their ages, for example for a kid of 6 years entertainment could be a puppet show and entertainment for a boy of 17 years old could be a party. So entertainment not always is related to the technology.

We live in an age where the way of communicating is technology, and in order for you to fit in today´s society you must use all the tools you currently have available, because we no longer use or care about other traditional entertainment ways or at least this might be the case for youth, but of course in the elders´case the perspective is different.

Anything can be entretaining, you just have to find out what is the thing that you love the most and turn it into a hobbie. For example drawing or playing an instrument.

You are right, you make your life enterteined, you just need to know with things you like to use your time, and technology is not the only way for enterteinment, is just a small part, because our parents before technology they used to play, to enjoy themselves outiside and not in a virtual world.

We can have entertainment not only with technology , we can do many things , as going out with friends , passing time with you family , learn different type of things, It dependes on what you like and prefer. We don't need to be always on internet or tv because that can become boring.

Entretainment is not always related to technology, entretaimet is presented in so many ways that it would take me forever telling you each one of them. When we were kids, when our parents and grandparents were kids technology wasn't developed as much as it is now, we didn't use that much the technological devices as we do now, when someone refered to entretainment what we thought about was going out with friends and start playing soccer, or hide and seek and much more games that nowadays are also seen. So entretainment goes forward from technology, entretainment is any type of activity made during the free time.
