It’s all right that UN models are mandatory?
It’s a fact that the UN model of the school is mandatory for the students of 8 and 9 grade. It’s it really necessary or just a waste of time for the development of a GCB student?

Eventhough UN models help students to improve a lot of habilities it should not be mandatory. School has to understand that UN is not for everyone and making it mandatory in a lot of cases causes that students hate the activity. It is better if school makes activities for making students be part of UN models instead of just saying it is mandatory.

Although UN models can be very usefull for a kid in his or her life, some of the kids that go are just going to sit down and not saying nothing in the whole model, and the idea is that people that love debating can improve their skills, and when people do not like to do it, it becomes boring, so the models should be optional for every student for making the activity more fun and educative.

Not al all!!!!
UN models should not be mandatory, because when you force someone to do something they don't want to is not right and makes a bad experience for the ones that are actually interested in debating and participating.
People who don't care about the model do not make a single effort, and that causes the presidents, vicepresidents and secretaries work to become worthless.
The model "helps" students to improve the way they talk to an audience, but it just injects anxiety to the kids. If models were not mandatory, it would be a win-win benefit.

UN models can help us in many ways p, it can help us understand more about what it happening outside Colombia, it helps us to use creativity to find solutions to problem and it can improve our communication skills, but UN models should not be mandatory, students can have many difficulties in this kind of project or can be bad at proposing solutions, because of this I think UN models shouldn't be mandatory.
