How can someone decide what to study in the university?

I believe deciding what to study in the university is a very difficult task. What tools could someone use to make this decision?

You can decide taking into account what subjects you liked at school, or what you always wanted to be as a child, you can take an exam so you can be sure what you are meant for but they are not always right with what you want.

I think you can make this important decision by taking into account your hobbies, the things you are good for and what you would like to do in the future. You could also discuss this with someone that already has chosen and take advice on them since this decision will be crucial for your future and you wouldn't want to be wrong.

I think the most important is to identify your strengths and areas which you are interested on studying ,in adittion to identify the tendencies for this areas in the future and investigate what are the alternatives for studying in Colombia or another countries, I would like to join an investigation group for having the opportunity to interact with professionals and determine which are the common constraints and to propose new ideas

I think the tools you should take into account are: which things do you enjoy doing, your strength and weakenes, and in wich areas you are more comfortable, because you need to take always into account first your opinion in what you want to do, because the first future to be affected is yours.

I think that the best way to choose what to study is basically select from 3 aspects. Fist, what you like and what you like to do the most. Second, how is your actitude when you have to do something that is related to that element. Anf finally, what are you good in.

I think when choosing what to study in university it is neccesary to take into account what are the areas in which people are outstanding, recognizing their strengths and weaknesses and mainly knowing what they like to do, from there people can get to choose which career is the correct one.

i think you decide what you are good in not in the university, but after it. You can decide to study medicine, but if you are not into it, you will never be successful on that are. So, in order to decide what to study on university, you must first know who you are, what you are good at and why makes you and will make you happy enough to study it for 5 years.

This is one of the most important decisions that a person have to make in their entire life , you need to see in what you are really good and what you like , it is important to choose something that you do with passion .

The students that are near to get to university and choose a career. Can watch or think what are the things they enjoy most and see if there is any career related to that. Also they can see which class they like and enjoy more, with these they have a guide to choose one career. After this they should now if what they are going to study is something they will enjoy doing it the rest do their life, because if is not like that you should check other options.

They need to look at the ubication of the place, then what advantages and disadvantages does it provide for their career and if they are willing to it.
