Do belief systems such as religion affect our relationships?
Many times when you talk about a topic that involves a believing system, people tend to divide and even offend others beliefs. But something that can depend on each person, should be the reason why you exclude other people?

Having different beliefs than other people shouldn't be a reason to exclude or discriminate them, as it is based in something that each one has been taught or learned; and a judgment can't be relied upon a belief system, as it is very subjective, as well as it is a point of view completely different of others.

Religion is one of the principal reasons for fighting with others so I think that we need to manage correctly this kind of topics specially when we are having a conversation with a person that follow a different religion from us. We are taking about diferent cultures, restrictions and also ways for looking the world; even thought, we don't need to exclude other person due to it religion but we don't have to offend them when they are practicing their religion. All depends on respect.

I believe other people shouldn't discriminate other people for their beliefs too but the reality is very far from this, we see many conflicts around the world because people refuse to listen to others with different beliefs or worse, they want to obligate others to believe the same they do even if it means using any type of violence, the ball is in our court, until people don't learn to respect different beliefs it will continue affecting our relationships.

I think belief systems can sometimes affect our relationships due to the fact that in certain cases people are not tolerant enough and don't accept other beliefs or differences, which can lead to a problem when meetimg someone.Laura García wrote:Many times when you talk about a topic that involves a believing system, people tend to divide and even offend others beliefs. So we should learn to accept others beliefs and differences and start stablishing relationships with others, even though we do not agree with the things they belief in or the things they do.

having a different religion should not be a reason to exclude a person as this does not make others different only have a different perspective or vision of the world and have other beliefs
