Why most of teenagers doesn't know how to use appropriately their media devices?

Beside being playing games or watching silly things in YouTube, why not teenagers economise their time studying different topics that are from extreme importance nowadays?

Because in the internet they experience a whole different world and doy to their age some are still not that conciudadanos about their actions
