It's very difficult to give a answer to these question, because it would be a subjective and not an objective answer depending the person who answer. However, in my opinion Sofia Vergara is the most important.

In fact Colombian society is made by all; moreover, it's kind of impossible to take in account who are the most important related to the theme of contribution. Despite the fact we can take in account that are some of them that have contributions in Colombia such as Andrés Cepeda who have help out the foundation called forming teenagers in which we could verify the character of each child.

I believe that the most important person are  Sergio Cabrera, Fernando Gonzales Pacheco and Dago Garcia, because they have won several awards  for their short films and feature films in the recent  years.

I think that the most important person that represents Colombia in media arts is Jorge Baron, because he is one of the most important and representative colombian that everyone remembers. For example if you ask any colombian something about Jorge Baron he or she will tell you a phrase or tell you a program like "El Show de las Estrellas" or his phrase "La patadita de la buena Suerte"

 I think that in Colombia there are many people involved in Media arts, they are all important. But some of them are more recognized in this, such as Vicky Davila, she is known as a famous Colombian journalist, she have defended many opinions and she has created many controversial thoughts among the Colombian society.

We have know that Colombian society it's made by more than one person but I want to know how awards could help in the process of contribution to Colombian society?

For me Sofia Vergara is the most important , because she is a very good at her job. AnOther reason way I thing she is the most important in Colombian media is her beauty;however, that is only my opinion.

In my opinion is very difficult to answer to this question because nowadays and during Colombian history, our country have very good exponents of media arts. But for me the most important probably can be Sofia Vergara and the deceased Fernando Gonzalez Pacheco.

In last years we have won much talent in Colombia in every category. Sometimes society think that working in media arts it's a piece of cake but for me that it is not true. We can find different influential people as Vicky Davila or Pirry who have to much knowledge about different topics. We can't establish who is the most important because each one of them have made good contributions.

Another Colombian that can be taken into account is Jhon Leguizamo, because of his hard work and participation in Hollywood. Mr. Leguizamo has been part of several movies in Hollywood, indeed, he is one of the Latins actors who earns the most. Without making any noise in the media Mr. Leguizamo has proved his skills on the silver screen, a proof that actions speak louder than words.

I'm caught between two stools with this question, but taking into account the international artists and the ones who had contributed with the Colombian culture, I think the most important would be Sofia Vergara because she is a well known actress and in many interviews she always speaks well about her country.

I think that the most important Colombian person in the medias is non, because every Colombian that had made a contribution in medias, has given it in an specific, different topic than the others; thus, I will say that all colombians in the media are important.

1. Gabriel Garcia Marquez – journalist
He had an impact in the colombian culture with his entire work. He was an objective journalist and a brilliant novelist.

2. Andres Caicedo – film director,producers, screenwriters
He included the urban aspects of daily life in his works bringing a new light to social and cultural problems present at the time. He also was a cinema critic.

3. Yamid Amat– journalist
He was the funder of the CM& news, he was Caracol news director and he had a column in EL TIEMPO.

4. Leo Matiz – photographer, animator
He has the best photographs in Colombia. He has an unique management of colors, lights and shades.

5. Felix de Bedout– journalist
He he worked as a general consultant in noticias uno.

6. Harold Trompetero – film director, producer, screenwriter
He has won many international awards, and he is the creative V.P of the publicist TXT.

7. Ruven Afanador – photographer, animator

he has worked in several international magazines like Vogue, Elle, Rolling Stone, Vanity fai,r etc. he has also worked with several international artists like Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer López, Antonio Banderas etc

8. Carlos Gaviria - film director, producer, screenwriter
He directed several international movies, documentals for UNICEF, and international series.

9. Daniel Coronell – journalist
Hebis the V.P and news director in Univision. He has won the national journalism Simon Bolivar award in six occasions. .

10. Nereo Lopez – photographer, animator

He has several national and international awards, including the first global Kodak NY award and he was pope Paulo VI’s official photographer.

In my opiniom GGM is the most important colombianin this list because he excels not only in the media but in literature too.

I think you would need to include Jaime Garzon and Juan Gosain, because this two guys, moreover of their periodistic function are writers, politican critics and Colombian population teachers.
In addition, they twist everybody's hands convincing the entire world Colombia is a magnificent country, but contributing to point out the government failures.

I agree with this thinking because besides there are more important persons Gabriel Garcia has been recognized outsides being part of building Colombian society;however, he brings up new perspective of what is called literature in world.

These question is very difficul and General to get to the answer but in my opinion the top 5 are piiry , Vicky Davila, Mauricio velez , Diego cadavid and Daniel samper.

I agree that maybe Pirry can be the best one, because of his excellent work throughout the years.

Hernan Pelaez makes controversy in different interesting topics. Politics, economics, and else, in his radio programme "la luciernaga". Making him an interesting journalists who deserves reconaigzation.

I don't agree that Vicky Davila must be recognized as an important person towrds media. She did gave a lot of infomaion and declared some violations to the law, but she only brought conciousness towards mainstream media when she was sacked from RCN. She should have reported corruption and impartiality inside Colombian mainstream media when she was parto of it.
