Should Internet be free?

Internet has become fundamental to every aspect of daily life, from new scientific discoveries to buying a simple product. Internet will, in the future, become essential for every activity them humans practice, due to the fact much of the services, like banking, searching for information, etc., require of the service. Google has already made some progress in this aspect, lending to communities in Asia and Africa the service of Internet. Therefore, in much of the places, Internet should be installed for free, provided by the Governement. Private companies can still provide this service, but with more advantages, which can be afford by the middle and high strata of the society.

It should be free for everyone, but the problem is that the low class people and probably Third-World countries do not have the resources for getting this, as well as affording for a device where this Internet is used. Still, there should be an addition of Fourth Generation rights, which would assure the free Internet for everyone. In countries like Colombia this could be useful as nowadays the world most important information flow by our internet connection. We will have the government give us these rights for accomplishing this objective.

Nicolas and Carlos, I agree with both of you, but we should take into account the uses that people will give to this free internet, like stalking people.

I totally agree with this since the internet has become an easier access system in all areas, either to make a payment or to do any type of research and I believe that in countries with low resources there should be a free access of internet to be able to carry out any type of research that is very necessary or as a means of communication
