Some people think that being vegetarian doesn't help since the cows continue being killed in the same quantity. What do you think about this? silent

Vale it may be true; however, I think that been vegetarian is also about changing your perception about animals, not seen them just as food but also as living things that aren't there to satisfy our needs and that we have to evolve to a vegetarian diet.
“Non-violence leads to the highest ethics, which is the goal of all evolution. Until we stop harming all other living beings, we are still savages.”

I think that the idea doesn't go around the fact that if you stop eating meat animals would stop being killed, but instead people become a vegetarian because this ideology gives them the certainty that they will not be part of the assassination of these animals and that they are not guilty about their suffering.

I think being cegetarian doesn’t really help since it creates a grater demand vegetable crops which makes the vital space of animals much less as they are displaced by this. Also, the carbon footprint of one single cow is equivalent to 3 barrels of oil.
