Carlos Vives due to the fact that he has introduced new styles to Colombian future within music by mixing Colombian music like vallenato and cumbia with pop and rock. He has won two Grammy Awards and nine times winner of the Latin Grammy Awards.
Carlos Vives also received in 2014 the Order of Arts and Letters by the French government and was honored with the President of BMI Latin Music Award in 2013 for his compositions.
