Which of these two have contributed more to the Colombian culture?

Choose  between Juanes or Shakira.
Shakira has made songs that have promoted the Colombian culture.
She has won more than than 400 prizes.
Juanes also has made songs that  promoted the good name of Colombia.

Which of them deserves to be on the podium of the best Colombian?

In my opinion Juanes deserves it, because he has made several songs promoting peace.

In my opinion shakira should be in the podium of best Colombian because she has a lot of prices and that prices are give for one reason.

In my opinion probably Shakira is the most indicated because have a big foundation that help a lot of children of scarce resourses, but also Juanes can be because he always promotes the peace in Colombia thro his music.

Shakira compare with Juanes is better than him because is the biggest exponent of the music, that have won more than 400 prizes and has stand up for the country on different occasions. Shakira is better than Juanes even though the favorable qualities of him.

I think that Juanes has contributed to the colombian culture, he has left the name of the country in the top, and has promoted peace through most of his songs. Also he has made concerts with other colombian artists for looking the peace and hope for his country.

In my opinion Shakira has contribute more to Colombia becouse she have been representing Colombia and its culture in all the world. For example she has sing the songs for 2 world cups (2006 and 2010) and also she close the last World Cup in Brazil. She also in her conserts and musical videos include something from Colombia or mention it.

In my two to tango had contribute to Colombian society, but the most important is shakira because have support more the society by a school for poor location; moreover, have show up Colombian culture in her presentations doing it by her expressions and feelings toward Colombia.

Shakira sure has been awarded several music awards such as Latin Grammys, but her most important achievements have been related to philantropy. She founded the "Pies Descalzos" foundation in order to help poor children with their education, she has done various charity concerts, has been named a UNICEF Goodwill embassador, she was given a medal by the UN International Labor Organization among with other awards related to her philantropy work; therefore, I believe that she is the true escence of an artist and a far cry from others who don't help other people when they can.

In my opinion Shakira has contributed more to Colombia. She is a singer-songwriter, record producer, dancer, model, fashion designer, entrepreneur, television actress, music, philanthropist and goodwill ambassador for UNICEF Colombia this are some reazon that make people of other contry see and think that Colombia is a contry with working people.

Shakira is the most important person related to media arts tat has contributed to Colombia's society, and also to worldwide societies. She is truly a really good artist, so she is recognized worldwide for her talent, of course; however, she is also really famous for helping a lot the most unprotected people, and her charity campaignes and foundation for children demonstrate that she is not only a singer you see once in a blue moon, but also someone who helps as much as she can with the fame she had won for her talent and effort.

I think that the person who deserves to be in the podium of the Best Colombian is Shakira because she has been such help to others and has contributed a lot to Colombia. She's been the best of both worlds; Winning prices and helping those who need it she deserves it.

I think that both of them are really important, but INE that reserves to be in the best colombian podium is Shakira due to her work in music and helping people who needs it throgh her institution.

Personally I disagree with you, because Juanes has been in more social contributions than Shakira. "La Paz Sin Fronteras" (a concert) is made by Juanes in different contries where the peace does not exists. Even though Sahkira has won more than 400 prizes does not mean that these prizes contributes for Colombian culture.

I think both Juanes and Shakira have contributed in a very notorious way to the Colombian culture, but in my opinion if it's about who of both deserves to be on the podium of the best in my opinion Juanes should be there because is not about who wins more prices or less, it is about who have supported more the country.

In my opinion the one that has contributed the most to the culture in Colombia is Shakira because she is related to a very important person in Colombia and also in the whole word. Shakira is very recognized because she is a very talent woman, however, she is recognized too because of every work of charity that she had been doing.

Trying to decide who deserves to be on the podium is like being caught between two stools. Both, Juanes and Shakira are very well-known artists, and have been recognized with a great amount of acknowledgements. However, the number of awards or the amount of people who know about them is not criteria enough for deciding whether Shakira or Juanes deserves to be the one whose contribution has been greater.

Shakira has contributed more to Colombian culture, because she is the one who has promoted the most the country of Colombia all around the world. Because of her participation in important events such as the Grammys or the FIFA World Cup in three opportunities, Shakira has made that the name of Colombia is known in every continent. Shakira has , as previously said, won lots of awards and recognition which certainly isn't a piece of cake, thus, she should be considered the winner of this forum.

In my opinion, Shakira should be on the podium, not only because of the fact she has won various awards, but because of her contribution to the Colombian and world-wide society as a philanthropist. In my opinion, Juanes deserves the podium because most of his songs promote peace, he is on the ball about poverty in Colombia and tries to do anything he can in order to help other people, canalizing his help in his foundation.
