Which of these two have contributed more to the Colombian culture?

We must remember Shakira is a UNICEF's goodwill embassador. She has advocated for the importance of establishing political initiatives that will make the high number of children that have no access to education decrease; moreover, when she was only 18 years old she founded "Barefoot foundation" right after her first international hit. Through the Foundation she has been supporting children in vulnerability and displacement conditions in Colombia and other countries around the world.
Shakira might not talk about peace in most of her songs, but actions do speak louder than words.

I agree and not only because he has made songs promoting peace, also because Juanes has fundarions that help people.

Im caught between two stools because, I really think that Juanes and Shakira have cotributed a lot. But if I had to choose I would select Juanes because, Shakira only showed her music to the world but juanes helped in culture.

In my opinion Shakira is better because she has done more contributions to the country, for example she has a foundation called "Pies Descalzos", and also has represented Colombia by her music in many positive ways like in the worldcups.

i would disagree. shakira has contributed to society with social care which reaches only a few, but juanes tries to promote peace nationwide.

In my opinion Shakira has contributed more to the Colombian culture. She has a foundation that support the unprotected children of the country and also has been awarded several times because of her music.

In my opinion Juanes has contribute more to the Colombian culture, not only because of the social care or because he represents Colombia internationally and nether because of the awards won, but because he is really Colombian, he feels very proud of his country, that is what makes me take my decision on Juanes. In the other hand Shakira have also contribute and make social care to Colombian society.

I think that Juanes because even though shakira has many songs that represent what we are as Colombians, now days after marrying with Gerard Pique she had lost her sense of Colombian. She even changed her Barranquillas accent for the Spanish one. On the other side we have Juanes whose songs will always be a part from Colombian culture and it doesn't matter if he lives in Miami, any place of Europe or Medellin  he will always keep his Colombian identity.
