Beauty programs give a stereotype of how "beautiful" girls should be. Many girls torture themselves to fit these stereotypes and to look like the girls shown in them.

These types of programs show girls a prototype of a beautiful girl, this could make a girl feel insecure that she does not match the beauty standards, causing further trouble. For me a solution is to include different types of beauty in this types of programs.
