6 of November, 1985, the iligal, armed group M-19 made a military intervention in the Palace of Justice in Bogotá. Belisario Betancur was the president at that time, and he decided to make another military intervention to the Palace for controlling and kick out the M-19, despite the hostages that the group had, and all the innocent people that could get hurt. Finally, he achieved his goal and the M-19 was kicked out. Did he do good with this delsicion or was it more a damage for innocent people than a solution?

I think that despite that the moment was requesting definitive and strong decisions, the military intervention he made was very late and uncontrolled. So, he caused a lot of damage compared to the beneficial solution he could provided if doing things on time.
