I consider Rafael Pombo more important than Alvaro Mutis. Rafael has more well known works than Alvaro, he had won more literally prizes than Mutis and he dedicated all his efforts to his writing

The most important Colombian writer is Leom de Greiff, he is consider the user of new techniques and literary figures at the moment he write. However, there are more writers with magnificent skills.

In my opinion Rafael Pombo is better because he was the supreme representative of romanticism in the country and one of the main figures of romantic poetry in spanish language. Also because of his very recognized works such as "Mirringa Mirronga" and "Simon el bobito".

In my opinion Rafael Pombo is more important than Alvaro Mutis because Pombo was the first writer of children's stories and he he knew how to capture their attention.

It is a difficult question to answer, but it would seem that Rafael Pombo was a most influential person Alvaro Mutis, especially because it was one of the most remarkable men in politics, diplomacy, culture and Colombian literature of the nineteenth century. It was a very educated person an the Colombian state recognized it's path naming him as "Gloria Colombian Letters".

I think both authors are far cry from each other, because Rafael Pombo is more about kids poems and Alvaro Mutis has different verbal production, for me both authors has their own techniques, influences, themes, innovations and had won differents awards.

Rafael Pombo is more important than Álvaro Mutis because of the topics he uses in the moment of writing. For example, he uses styles for different audience.

In my opinion Rafael Pombo becuase is one of the famous fabulist and diplomatic colombian poets of the nineteenth century. He dedicate his life to write children and poetic text. His most famous works are RinRin Tadpole, Mirringa Morronga and simon el bobito that are part of the colombian literature education.
