At some point artificial intelligence will exceed human intelligence?

As Stephen Hawking says, one posible world end, would be at the moment when artificial intelligence will exceed human intelligence. I think that world at that moment would be like terminator movies, the humans would be the new slaves of the machinnes.

One day machines will go above humans, as they are starting to get more “intelligent”. They are doing human work and they are each time having a bigger space for becoming more intelligent. This artificial intelligence is slowly becoming more powerful up to the point that human activity is not useful. The day this becomes an evident issue, Albert Einstein’s biggest fear would become true .
