Do richer countries have the responsibility to help other countries?

Countries all over the world have responsibilities is one to help other underdeveloped countries?

I dont think it should be considered as a responsibility. It should be considered as an act of generosity, it becomes an important role that some countries play, and of course all of them should do it, but as I just said it is a should, not a must.

Yes, the countries that have more resources and money should help less developed countries, but this should be done without further expectations or intentions by these powerful countries. For example, countries live U.S.A have always been known for helping smaller countries (mainly in south América), but they also always have a second intention, and that shouldn't happen.

In my opinion, it is ridiculous for those countries to have that type of responsibilities because the first thing a country should think about it’s about its own country. Developed countries must help other countries but because they want, not because they are being obliged to do it, it should be a way of helping others because of own willing not because some kind of duty.

I believe they do have the responsibility to help. God gives us to give , and if someone needs help why shouldn't a country that is capable to help, offer them the opportunity to grow. I think developed countries get more authority and power by helping others in need.
