It matters a lot, it is funny to see 16 years old thinking 23 year old people take them seriously, like really they only use them for fun, so yes, it is kind of important but that depends more in the couple.

Age is very important on relationships. Scientific studies have concluded the best difference on age for successful relationships is around 2 years. This is explained by the fact that you will most likely have the same interests, hobbies and attitudes. It is very hard to be on a relationship in which you dont have anything in common

It is important, as people is interested in different things depending on their ages. Some people like to be with someone older as they say this person may be much more mature.

The age does matter in a relationship, as long as you want it to be stable and long-lasting instead something ephemeral. Usually when one of the two persons involved in the couple is much younger, it is very likely that he or she start feeling "consumed" due to the fact his or her partner does certain stuff that only is benefitial for the older person and the the other has to adapt or vice versa. This is just one of the cases that could happen, because some couples have shown to succeed in defiance of their age.
